Wpływ pola elektromagnetycznego na implantowane kardiowertery - defibrykatory - przegląd raportów badawczych

Abstrakty
The paper presents problems connected with implantable cardioverter-defibtrillators (ICDs) exposed to electromagnetic field. The authors have focused on several kinds of sources electromagnetic fields classified by ICDs manufacturers into three categories: unsafe (interference likely), need to take precaution (possible interference) and safe. There are a number of possible ICDs responses to external interference: temporary inhibition of the device or to inappropriate delivery of antitachycardia pacing and shocks.
