Artykuł omawia podstawowe cechy światła dziennego i ich rolę przy projektowaniu oświetlenia w budynku. Następnie omówiono strategie i technologie oraz czynnik kosztów w oświetleniu dziennym. W końcu omówiono aktualny stan normalizacji europejskiej w oświetleniu dziennym.

The paper presents the basic characteristic of daylight and their part at designing lighting in building. Then explains the strategy and technology in daylighting and a cost factor. At the end of the paper describes a state of the european standarization in daylighting.
