Moore law and bounds of technology

Moore Law has governed technological development of them since1965 when Gordon Moore formulated it. But how long the Moore Law will be valid? The author tries to answer using results obtained by Information Theory and Thermodynamics. Limitation of data processing is not a gate channel length but power density dissipated by integrated circuit. As a result semiconductor industry must concentrate on cooling technologies and energy saving. It probably let for next 18 years of unbreakable development of CMOS technology.
