Abstrakty

Przedstawiono stan technicznego zaawansowania satelitarnych systemów dostępowych realizujących usługi wąskopasmowe przy zastosowaniu satelitów geosynchronicznych. Omówiono przygotowywane w ramach ETSI TC SES standardy dla tego typu systemów wąskopasmowych. Zaprezentowano budowę warstwy fizycznej i łącza, udostępniane usługi oraz przykłady systemów.

In the paper the technical features of narrowband geosynchronous satellite access systems are discussed. The status of ETSI GMR standards and the overview of technical issues including physical and link layers and multiplexing is presented. Some proponent systems like: EAST, ACeS and THURAYA are described.
