Dynamic light scattering (DLS), known also as photon correlation spectroscopy, is being used as a helpful tool at the research where measuring of the size of particles in liquid is necessary. Technology of breaking a monochromatic light beam and changing it's wavelength by (Brownian) motion of particles which the light stream has been sent to.
