Article presents results of investigation and method of most suitable (from metrological point of view) vortex path frequency measurement point determination present in vortex flow meter. In order to determinate optimal region used for frequency measurement, pressure and velocity field of vortex path generating section was computed. Short overview of determination bluff`s body charakteristic curve is also present.
