The paper presents the testing methods, laboratory stand and devices used in tests of protection devices exchanging data through PDH (Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy) network devices. The paper has arisen as a result of Institute of Power Engineering and PSE Operator cooperation. In this cooperation many tests were made. The range of tests covers the protection functionality tests and PDH devices test focused on determination of possibilities, conditions and problems that exist or may happen during their interoperation.

Artykuł przedstawia testy zabezpieczeń odcinkowych linii WN/NN wykorzystujących do przesyłu danych sieci PDH (Plezjochroniczna Hierarchia Cyfrowa). Testy zostały przeprowadzone we współpracy Instytutu Elektroenergetyki Politechniki Warszawskiej oraz firmy PSE Operator S.A. W artykule przedstawiono metodykę wykonanych testów oraz omówiono ich wyniki.
