Abstrakty
The article presents the FST-technology of designing of the flowing parts. The FST-technology is based on the visual research of the flow structure in the models of the flowing parts. Whilst designing flow passages, knowledge of the revealed flow structure laws enables to design equipment with improved energy, acoustic, vibration, ejection and other characteristics. Methods of application the FST-technology are shown on the example of designing an optimal flow passage of flow turn by 90°. The article presents the results of the modernization of the "Westinhouse 25MW" gas turbine at the BRUCH power station (Colorado, the USA) in 1997.
