Energetic recycling of organic wastes

Abstrakty
Organic wastes constitute a major part of the communal wastes and industrial wastes. Among them only biological organic wastes are subject to fermentation - composting. If not processed the rest of wastes cover the ground. Among thermal utilisation methods such as pyrolysis, combustion, gasification, the gasification is a distinguished multiphase process allowing its multi parameter steering from the standpoint of obtaining desired ecological and energy parameters of synthetic gas received in this process. For chosen groups of wastes the composition of resulting gas made at different temperatures is presented and it is compared with composition of an example of gas derived from dumping grounds. It is emphasized that about 96% of organic wastes undergo full gasification while only about 10% of biological organic wastes generates gas. Anyway, in view of new investigations the dumping grounds for communal wastes and composting plants can be sources of higher amounts of dioxins and furanes than the contemporary technologies of multiphase combustion of organic wastes.
