The application of a dry method for desulfurization of waste gases causes accumulation of ashes on waste dumps.Ash wastes can applied in cement and construction industries mostly to road construction.Testing results as well as road exploitation experience indicate that the application of ashes to road construction does not present any environmental hazard caused by increased radioactivity of ashes or possible dusting.Contamination of underground waters with products washed out from road foundation layers is also hardly possible. The best possible applications of ashes to road construction concem mostly embankment building,ground enhancement,making ancillary foundation layers for highways,express road construction,and soil-surfaced road hardening.
