The article discusses problems concerning qualitative changes in corn grains occuring during their storage and limiting their consumption value.They depend on the physical state of corn grains and the environment conditions.The most efficient method of crops preservation that inhibits the development of pathogenic fungi is cooling and ventilation.Research into other methods of fighting pathogenic fungi has beeb carried out.The results of the laser light application seem to be interesting.It has been found that therehis a relation between pathogenic fungi and water radicals and laser bio-stimulation influances earlier germination and better growth of plants.
