Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ukazanie problematyki zapobiegania stratom w łańcuchu dostaw branży dóbr szybko-rotujących. W artykule scharakteryzowano podstawowe przyczyny ubytków w branży FMCG, jak również, niektóre sposoby przeciwdziałania generowaniu strat stosowane we wspomnianym sektorze. Mając na uwadze całość opracowania wykazano, iż umiejętne stosowanie i właściwy dobór metod w zakresie zapobiegania stratom, a w szczególności właściwe współdziałanie wszystkich elementów łańcucha dostaw, stanowi klucz do sukcesu walki z ubytkami w przedmiotowej branży.

The aim of this article is to characterise the problem of the srinkage in the fast-moving consumer goods sector. It presents data, nature and causes of stock loss throughout the supply chain. This arcicle shows the main tools for fighting against stock losses. It highlihts the role od loss prevention and audit departments in minimising losses. Additionally it concludes that companies should adopt more strategic approach by co-operating with other companies within the supply chain.
