Artykuł przedstawia ogólną charakterystykę procesu inwestycyjnego, charakteryzuje schemat prawidłowego procesu inwestycyjnego. Omawia wielkości nakładów mwestycyjnych i charakteryzuje założenia Programu Rządowego oraz wielkości planowanych nakładów w poszczególnych kierunkach inwestowania. Przedstawia realizację zamierzeń mwestycyjnych w górnictwie węgla kamiennego w zakresie rzeczowym, finansowym oraz w poszczególnych kierunkach inwestowania w stosunku do założeń ujętych w Programie Rządowym w latach 1998 -=-2001 (I półrocze). Określa planowane nakłady inwestycyjne ogółem, wielkości nakładów na wyrobiska górnicze, zakłady wzbogacania węgla oraz zakupy maszyn i urządzeń górniczych w latach 2002-^-2007.

The article presents general characteristics of the investment process, characterises the diagram of a correct investment process. Investment outlay values are discussed and the assumptions of the Government Program as well as the values of planned expenditure in the particular directions of investing. Realisation of investment intentions in the hard coal industry from the subject matter and financial point of view is presented in the particular investing directions as against assumptions comprised in the Government Program 1998-H 2001 (1st half of the year). The total planned investment outlay, expenditure for underground workings, coal preparation plants as well as purchase of mining machines and equipment in the years 2002-H 2007 are specified.
