The PVC industry is actively involved in the development of recycling solutions for contaminated mixed plastics waste streams with a high PVC content. Potential technologies for achieving this goal are tested at present at pilot scale. This paper provides an overview of the projects under investigation and the results obtained so far, whilst development work continues.

Przedstawiono przegląd nowych osiągnięć w dziedzinie wybranych metod wymienionego w tytule recyklingu (zarówno wdrożonych, jak i znajdujących się na etapie badań). Metody te obejmują: gazyfikację w kąpieli żużlowej (Schemat A), spalanie w piecu obrotowym (Schemat B, tabela 2), hydrolizę z późniejszą pirolizą (Schemat C), pirolizę z późniejszą ekstrakcją metalu (Schemat D, tabela 3) oraz odchlorowanie mieszanych odpadów tworzywowych (proces "REDOP"")-Zwięźle scharakteryzowano stronę ekonomiczną omawianego procesu.
