W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań biozgodnych cienkich warstw Ti(C,N,O) wytwarzanych techniką PLD (Pulsed Laser Deposition) na podłożu polimerowym (poliuretan).
The paper deals with the characterization of Ti(C,N,O) biocompatible thin films on polymer substrate (polyurethane). The layers weredeposited using Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD) technique. The surface morphology, structure, chemical and phase composition were analyzed. The roughness of the surface, thickness of the thin films and friction coefficient were measured also. The phase composition of thin films generally consist of TiO2, TiC, and TiO0.34N0.66 phases. The thickness of deposited films can be varied between 5 and 15 nm. The crystallite size is estimated from 3 nm to 7 nm, and the roughness is about 1.5 nm. The friction coefficient for Ti(C,N,O) thin films is lower than for polyurethane and averages about 0.1.
