Celem badań było zdiagnozowanie stanu pracy sześciowylewowej kadzi pośredniej różniącej się urządzeniami sterującymi przepływem. W artykule przedstawiono analizę charakterystyk mieszania dla kadzi pośrednich. Dla oceny warunków kształtowania się przejściowej strefy mieszania przeprowadzono badania zmiany stężenia znacznika w trakcie odlewania stali. Obliczenia numeryczne przeprowadzono za pomocą komercyjnego kodu Fluent.

The objective of the research was to diagnose the work state of a six-strand tundish with different flow control devices. The article presents an analysis of mixing characteristics for tundishes. To evaluate the forming conditions of transient mixing zone the examination of variation in the concentration of the marker during steel casting was performed. Numerical simulations were carried out by commercial Fluent code.
