W pracy przedstawiono analizę istniejących teorii procesu rozdrabniania, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem rozdrabniania materiałów rolno-spożywczych. Ponadto uzasadniono potrzebę podjęcia badań nad opracowaniem uniwersalnego modelu procesu rozdrabniania z uwzględnieniem właściwości materiału i konstrukcji rozdrabniacza.

The paper presents the analysis of existing theories of breaking up, making specially allowances for breaking up of the agricultural and food materials. Besides, this paper justifies the necessity of undertaking the study of formulating the universal model of the process of breaking up, including the properties of the material and construction of the shredder.
