The topic of considerations is a rectangular Kirchoff plate assuming Huber orthotropy and homogeneity of material. The structure is freely supported on two parallel edges and free of any actions on the two complementary boundaries. The static equilibrium in analysed and the solution was obtained by using modified Navier approach. In the method formulated we get exact results without need to solve infinite linear equations. Some conclusions are concerning the particular case of viscoelasticity for isotropy.
