Komunikacja tramwajowa przeżywa obecnie renesans. Towarzyszą mu ogromne zmiany w zakresie infrastruktury, sterowania ruchem oraz taboru. Wynikiem tych zmian jest tramwaj na oponach Translohr. W artykule zwrócono uwagę na innowacyjność Translohra. Omówiono najważniejsze aspekty związane z infrastrukturą oraz taborem. Wskazano lokalizacje linii tramwajowych obsługiwanych przez tramwaj na oponach Translohr.

Tramway communication is catching considerable attention. The development of tram transport is associated with rapid changes of infrastructure, tramway rolling stock and traffic control systems. Guided tram - like system Translohr is a consequence of these changes. In the article, innovative aspect of Translohr was pointed out. The most important aspects of rolling stock and infrastructure was discussed. Localizations of tram lines operated by the vehicles with tyres - Translohr were presented.
