W artykule opisano cel oraz metody badań właściwości jezdnych pojazdów ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem samochodów specjalnych stosowanych przez służby ratownicze. Przedstawiono wymagania dotyczące aparatury pomiarowej wykorzystywanej w tych badaniach oraz ogólne warunki realizacji procedur badawczych. Opisano najczęściej stosowane znormalizowane testy drogowe pozwalające na ocenę kierowalności i stateczności pojazdów. Zaprezentowane badania będą stosowane do oceny bezpieczeństwa samochodów wykorzystywanych w Straży Pożarnej.

The article presents the objective and the research methods of the identification of the viable properties of specialized vehicles, used by the fire departments. The authors present the requirements related to the measurement apparatus used in the research and the general conditions for the application of the research procedures. Also described are the most often applied normalized traffic tests, which enable to assess the steerability and the stability of the vehicles. The presented research will be applied to the assessment of the safety of the vehicles used by the Fire Service.
