Przedstawiono działania Komisji Europejskiej na rzecz rozwoju pan-europejskiego systemu eCall i zalecenia grupy DG eCall dotyczące wdrażania tego systemu w państwach Wspólnoty, w tym zalecenia dotyczące architektury systemu eCall, parametrów działania systemu eCall i punktów PSAP, jakości obsługi połączeń eCall i dokładności lokalizacji pojazdu uczestniczącego w wypadku drogowym, minimalnego zestawu danych (MSD) oraz zalecenia dotyczące protokołów transportowych i ochrony prywatności użytkowników usługi eCall.

The article presents the activities of the European Commission concerning development of the pan-European eCall system and recommendations of DG eCall related to introduction of this system in UE. In particularity it comprises the recommendations related to eCall architecture, performance criteria for eCall and PSAP, end to end performance criteria as well as precise location of the vehicle involved in an accident, eCall minimum set of data (MSD) and the recommendations related to transport protocols and protection of privacy of citizens.
