In this study, the environmentally cracking (EAC) behavior of 7010 Al-alloy was examined using slow strain rate technique (SSRT), This study brings out the developments on the heat treatment and alloying to improve the EAC resistance of 7010 Al-alloy. The effect of microstructures including the grain boundary precipitates, coarse metallic particles and recrystallized grains on the EAC behavior of 7010 Al-alloy has been examined
