Abstrakty
W referacie przedstawiono możliwości wprowadzenia hierarchicznej modulacji w kanałach radiowych. Hierarchiczna konstelacja zmodulowanych sygnałów, o różnym stopniu protekcji przed błędami pozwala poprawić efektywność wykorzystania kanału i wprowadzić usługi wymagające większych przepływności binarnych. Dzięki temu można poprawić jakość oferowanych usług multimedialnych bez poszerzania pasma kanału.
The paper presents a basic description of hierarchical modulation in broadcast channels. Hierarchical constellations offer a different degree of protection to the transmitted messages according to their relative importance. Such modulation can found interesting application in multimedia services because they can be used effectively to upgrade a digital broadcast system.
