According to the directives approved by the European Union countries, in 2005 fuels should contain at least 2% of biocomponents. In Poland petrol already contains such an addition. One of the procedures in control of fuel quality is the content determination of biocomponents according to relevant Polish Standard. In this paper a new and, in our opinion, simpler procedure of the determination of the content of biocomponents (bioethanol and ethyl tert-butyl ether) is proposed. The method can be applied to fuel for spark ignition engines. It is based on gas chromatography and is characterized by high accuracy and precision.

Zgodnie z przyjętymi przez Unię Europejską dyrektywami w 2005 r. dodatek biokomponentów do paliw powinien wynosić co najmniej 2%. W Polsce benzyny zawierają już takie dodatki. Kontrola jakości paliwa obejmuje m.in. konieczność oznaczenia właśnie zawartości tych składników, zgodnie z PN. Zaproponowano prostszą (w naszej ocenie) procedurę oznaczania biokomponentów (bioetanolu i eteru etylowo-tert-butylowego) w paliwach do silników z zapłonem iskrowym, metodą chromatografii gazowej. Metoda charakteryzuje się dużą dokładnością i wysoką precyzją.
