System DEC in moderated climate
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
Systemy DEC stanowią alternatywę w stosunku do systemów klasycznych w klimatyzacji.
Desiccant evaporative cooling (DEC) systems appear as an alternative to classical air-conditioners. The principle consists in drying the air in order to get a high potential of evaporative cooling of air. This technique is refrigerant free and uses few of electricity. In the other hand, as it is necessary to regenerate the desiccant wheel, thermal energy is required to heat up the wheel at temperatures in the range of 50-100°C. The use of solar energy or waste heat can make this technique interesting. The mathematical calculations of the system is provided and used to predict the system performance under moderate weather conditions.
