Abstrakty
The influence of turning parameters on microstructure of surface layer of products made of Ti-6A1-4V alloy was presented. The effect of tool geometry and coating type, machining speed and cooling agent type on machinability of the alloy and stereological parameters of alfa and ß phases was assessed. The microstructure of the alloy was examined using Nikon Epiphot 300 light microscope. Hardness tests were conducted for various machining parameters applied.
