The paper describes generalized considerations the previously developed method of quasi-inverse signal compression. This bas been done based on extensive experimental verification of the capabilities of the method. The generalizations have been carried out in the following directions: constructing an accurate procedure for the quantitative optimization of real-time compression quality; developing an approach to the universalizing of the compression technique in terms of the diversity of multimedia signals; and understanding the properties of new effects occurring in hyper-deep compression modes.
