Abstrakty
The paper presents the results of the tests of pre-tensioned hollow-core slabs under instantaneous loading. Two types of pre-tensioned HC slabs were tested, i.e. precast 320 mm thick element and the same element but with structural topping of concrete layer 50 mm in depth. The width of tested elements was 1,2 m and their span length was 6,9 m. There was no tie reinforcement applied in composite section, just basic surface cleaning and watering was made before casting of concrete. Each slab was prestressed by twelve seven-wire Y1860 strands, 12,5 mm in diameter. The slabs were tested up to failure in simply supported scheme. The tests proved the high load capacity, cracking resistance and stiffness at bending of prestressed HC slabs. Further improvement in general structural performance was observed for the composite element. The friction and adhesion between precast and topping concrete under external loads were satisfactory. There was no any delamination effect noticed during the test up to failure.
