Abstrakty
Results of investigations of the tendency of electrification (ECT) of insulating oil obtained by the current and voltage methods. It was found that with major thicknesses of the laminar sub-layer the volumetric density of charge obtained from current measurements approximates the value obtained from voltage measurements. Somewhat greater differences appear within the range of small thicknesses of the laminar sub-layer. The test results obtained show advisability of using the voltage method and the proposed model for investigating the ECT.
