The aim of this paper is to derive the model of thin elastic othotropic plates, which takes into account the first corrector in the asymptotic expansions of displacements and stresses. The method of asymptotic expansions combined with variational approach were used. In the case of isotrophy our results reduce to those obtained by Raoult [14].
