The paper presents an algorithm for the optimal design of plus - energy buildings. It explains the need for designing such type of buildings. The aim of this article is to create a hypothetical plus-energy building. The study presents a calculation for electricity from renewable sources: solar and wind energy. The calculations take into account the climatic conditions in a particular area of Poland. The final part of the article provides a comparison of the number of solar collectors, photovoltaic panels and wind turbines required to meet the energy needs of the building. Detached houses were placed in two different climatic regions of Poland.
