Abstrakty
In recent years macromolecular plasticizers have begun to play an increasingly important role in the processing of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC). A new method of synthesis of polymeric plasticizers was developed. Application of the new process allows to obtain homogeneous, clear products using a cheap raw material - recycled poly(ethylene tercphthalate). Preliminary studies confirm that these products have the ability to plasticize PVC. The properties of plasticized PVC were compared with the properties of plastic which has been plasticized with selected commercial polymeric and low molecular weight plasticizcrs.
