Abstrakty
In this work we present the results of surface topography and cell adhesion investigations of new elastomeric materials composed of poly(ethylcnc tercphthalatc) (PET) hard segments and dimer fatty acid, i.e. dilinoleic acid (DLA) soft segments. 0.2 wt % TiOn nanoparticles were introduced into polymer matrix to form polymer-ceramic nanocomposite. Addition ofTi02 nanoparticles altered surface roughness and enhanced embryonic stem cells cardiomyocytes (ESC-CM) derived from mouse embryonic stem cells adhesion and spreading. The results indicate that PET/DLA and especially PET/DLA-TiOj are promising candidates for the manufacture of engineered patches with ESC-CM.
