Abstrakty
The main goal of investigations presented in this paper was to determine the influence of the heat treatment of the partially oriented isotactic polypropylene (iPP) fibers on their supermolecular structure using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and wide angle x-ray scattering (WAXS) methods. In our calorimctric and diffraction studies we took an attempt to describe the transformation of the mesomorphic smectic phase of iPP POY fibers occurred under the influence of the heat treatment connected with the proccss of drawing and texturing.
