Cleaners' exposure to chemical hazards
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
Główne grupy związków, które mogą występować w środowisku pracy osób sprzątających, to m.in. rozpuszczalniki organiczne, aldehydy i ketony.
The article focuses on issues concerning chemical hazards of cleaners. Hazard caused by harmful chemical factors at the workplace of a cleaner results from the existence of dangerous chemical substances either in dust, aerosols and particulate matter or in the cleaning products that can contain them. Major groups of compounds that may occur in the working environment of a cleaning person cover organic solvents, aldehydes and ketones. However, cleaning personnel may be also exposed to inorganic bases and both organic and inorganic acids.
