Errors of the inductive current transformers during transformation of distorted currents

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań oraz wnioski dotyczące analizy wpływu wzrostu częstotliwości sinusoidalnego prądu pierwotnego oraz odkształcenia prądu o częstotliwości podstawowej 50 Hz na właściwości metrologiczne przekładników prądowych indukcyjnych. W przypadku wszystkich badanych przekładników stwierdzono pogorszenie ich właściwości metrologicznych ze wzrostem częstotliwości transformowanego prądu. W niektórych konstrukcjach, podczas transformacji przebiegów odkształconych, stwierdzono zwiększenie błędów całkowitych transformacji w stosunku do wynikających z ich klasy dokładności. Wzrost tych błędów powoduje pogorszenie dokładności podczas pośrednich pomiarów mocy lub energii z zastosowaniem tego przekładnika.
The paper presents the results of the analysis and their conclusions on the impact of the increase of the frequency of sinusoidal primary current and the distortion of the primary current of frequency 50 Hz on the metrological properties of inductive current transformers. In the case of all tested CT with the increase of the primary current frequency their metrological properties were decreased. In some of tested constructions, during transformation of distorted currents of main frequency 50 Hz, total transformation errors were increased in relation to their value for sinusoidal currents of frequency 50 Hz. The increase in these errors will result in decrease of the accuracy in indirect measurements of the electric power and energy with the usage of this current transformer.
