W artykule autorzy przedstawiają niezwykle istotne zagadnienie uzysku w produkcji odlewów z punktu widzenia rentowności jako celu podstawowego przedsiębiorstwa odlewniczego. W uzysku zdefiniowanym jako stosunek ilości dobrych odlewów do ilości wsadu metalowego niezbędnego do stopienia i otrzymania dobrych odlewów mieści się przeciętnie biorąc większość kosztów bezpośrednich, które w relacji do stosowanej technologii i poziomu jakości są ponoszone w procesie produkcji. W artykule omówiono główne elementy składające się na wysokość uzysku oraz przedstawiono podstawowe działania umożliwiające osiągnięcie w miarę wysokiego uzysku zarówno w obszarze technologii jak i organizacji i monitorowania procesu produkcyjnego.

An essential problem of the casting production yield from the point of view of the profitability as the basic purpose of the foundry plant is presented in the paper. In the yield, defined as a ratio of the amount of good castings to the amount of metallic charges necessary for melting and obtaining sound castings, the majority of direct costs, which - in relation to the applied technology and quality level - are borne in the production process, is generally included. Main elements influencing the achieved yield and the basic operations allowing to obtain the relatively high yield, both concerning the technological range and the organisation and monitoring of the production process, are discussed in the paper.
