Artykuł przedstawia sytuację rynkową Spółki FERRO-TERM z Łodzi po zmianie profilu działalności z ukierunkowaniem na produkcje piankowych filtrów ceramicznych. Inwestycje w nowoczesnej konstrukcji urządzenia specjalistyczne zaowocowały znacznym wzrostem zdolności produkcyjnych i zdobycie nowych klientów. Największym atutem FERRO-TERM w produkcji filtrów jest możliwość uzyskiwania wyjściowych profili w dowolnych kształtach i wymiarach, co pozwala na realizowanie bardzo nietypowych zamówień i bycie bardzo konkurencyjnym na rynku za równo w Polsce jak i w Unii Europejskiej. FERRO-TERM produkuje również filtry do odlewów staliwnych. W bieżącym roku rozpoczyna ich eksport do krajów Unii Europejskiej. Spółka dodatkowo zajmuje się również dystrybucja i wdrażaniem materiałów ogniotrwałych amerykańskiej firmy Allied Mineral Products, a także zajmuje się zastosowaniem materiałów do wykonywania oprzyrządowania odlewniczego. Firma podjęła działania aby z początkiem 2008 roku uruchomić specjalistyczną odlewnię staliwa, przeznaczoną głównie do produkcji odlewów jednostkowych i krótkoseryjnych. Odlewnia wyposażona będzie w najnowocześniejsze urządzenia do wytapiania, formowania, regeneracji masy, oczyszczanie i odpylanie. W artykule scharakteryzowane zostały również działania siostrzanej firmy FERRO-MASZ, która w swoich działaniach uzupełnia ofertę FERRO-TERMU.
In the article the market situation of the Company FERMO-TERM in Łódź after the change of its activity with the orientation on the ceramic foam filter production is discussed. Investments including the specialized, modern equipment have brought considerable increase of the production ability and new clients. The greatest trump of the firm FERRO-TERM in the filter production is the possibility of gaining the issue profiles of arbitrary shapes and dimensions, allowing the realization of very atypical orders and thus taking a very profitable competitive position in Poland and on the EU market. FERRO-TERM is also producing filters for steel castings; in this year it shall start with their exportation into EU countries. The Company also occupies itself with the distribution and implantation of the refractory materials into the foundries, coming from the American firm Allied Mineral Products, as well as of materials for preparing the foundry instrumentation. The firm has taken actions in order to start at the beginning of the year 2008 with casting production in a new, specialized steel foundry designed, first of all, to produce unitary castings or castings made in short series. The foundry will be equipped with most modern devices for melting, moulding, sand reclamation, fettling and dedusting. In the article there also are characterized actions of the sister firm FERRO-MASZ, which is completing the offer of FERRO-TERM.
