Prowadzone prace rozwojowe w obszarze motoryzacji, jak spełnienie wymagań ochrony środowiska, poprawienie bezpieczeństwa i pewności pojazdu, jego ceny, kosztów utrzymania, a także częsta zmiana modeli są dla odlewni produkującej dla tego rynku coraz większym wyzwaniem. Aby spełnić wymagania produkcji wentylowanych tarcz hamulcowych, grupa PSA Citroën, Odlewnia Sept-Fons i Foseco podjęły wspólne specyficzne know-how i połączyły swoje doświadczenia. "Total Methoding" określa nową drogę partnerstwa pomiędzy dostawcą a klientem, którzy wspólnie są włączeni w proces produkcji, począwszy od metalurgii przez wytwarzanie rdzeni i technikę zasilania aż do wykonaniu odlewu.

The developing works being carried out in the field of motorization and aiming to fulfill the requirements of environmental protection, improving the safety and reliability of cars, their prices and maintenance costs as well as frequently model changes create greater and challenges for foundries producing motorization parts. For fulfilling the requirements concerning the production of the ventilated disc brakes the Group PSA Citroën, the Foundry Sept=Fons and FOSECO have desided to commonly utilize the specific know-how and their experiences. "Total Methoding" determines a new way of partnership between the producer and customer, who commonly are included into the production process, beginning from the metallurgical problems, through core making and developing the riser system till making the casting itself.
