W referacie przedstawiono opis nowego czujnika przeznaczonego do oceny jakości form wilgotnych oraz automatycznej kontroli procesu maszynowego zagęszczania masy formierskiej. Podkreślono znaczenie jakości formy odlewniczej w procesie produkcji odlewów. Na tle analizy dotychczas stosowanych metod oceny stanu formy przedstawiono koncepcję własnego rozwiązania. Zaprezentowano przykładowe wyniki pomiarów przeprowadzonych z użyciem nowego czujnika. Wyeksponowano zalety czujnika oraz całego systemu pomiarowego. Podano praktyczne zalecenia dotyczące jego stosowania.

The description of the new sensor for the quality assessment of wet moulds and for the automatic control of the process of thickening of moulding sands was given in the paper. The significance of the mould quality in the production process of castings was emphasised. On the background of formerly applied methods of mould quality assessments the own solutions were presented. Some results of measurements obtained by an application of the new sensor were given as an example. Advantages of the sensor and the whole measuring system were emphasised. Practical directives concerning its application were given.
