Artykuł prezentuje działalność Przedsiębiorstwa Dostaw Materiałów Odtewniczych "PEDMO" SA. Powstało ono w Tychach w 1951 r. Budowę zakładu w dzisiejszym kształcie zakończono w 1971 roku. Od tego czasu zakład podlegał sukcesywnej restrukturyzacji. Od 2OO2r 80% akcji spółki posiada 3 inwestorów, a 20% załoga i drobni inwestorzy. W 1998 r. "PEDMO" SA uzyskało certyfikat ISO 9002 nadany przez KEMA RQ, a w 2004 r otrzymało certyfikat na zarządzanie jakością wg norm ISO 9001:2000 i PN-N-18001:1999 . "PEDMO" SA jest dostawcą materiałów pomocniczych dla odlewnictwa, metalurgii i innych gałęzi przemysłu metalowego. Znaczna część oferowanych materiałów produkowana jest w siedzibie "PEDMO" SA w Tychach. Program produkcji obejmuje ponad sto wyrobów. Oferta ta jest ciągle dostosowywana do bieżących wymagań klientów, wzbogacana o produkty importowane, nie produkowane w Polsce (np. grafit). .PEDMO" SA oferuje następujące grupy wyrobów: materiały pomocncze dla odtewnictwa, które zapewniają wysoką jakość odlewów dzięki stabilnym własnościom technologicznym mas formierskich i rdzeniowych, zasypki i materiały dla hutnictwa stali, zwiększające uzysk i czystość stali i poprawiające powierzchnię wlewków; materiały pomocnicze dla metalurgii metali nieżelaznych oraz przemysłu metalowego wpływające na zmniejszenie strat metalu oraz na czystość i poprawę jego własności. "PEDMO" SA zaopatruje w swoje produkty również odbiorców poza granicami Polski. Dodatkowo eksportuje i importuje wyroby branży hutniczej i odlewniczej.

The paper presents the activity of the Enterprise of Delivery of Foundry Materials PEDMO SA. It was created in Tychy in 1951 Tbe erection of the firm in the actual shape was finished ~ 1971 Since that time the plant has been successively reconstructing. 8O% of the shares of the company posess since 2002 three motors, and the rest - the staff and small investors. In 1998 PEDMO SA got the certificate ISO 9002, conferred by KEMA RQ, and in 2004 - the certificate for managing the quality after the standard ISO 9001 2000 and PN-N-18001:1999. PEDMO SA is deliverer of the auxiliary materials for foundries metallurgy plants and other metal industries. A considerable amount of the offered products is produced in the seat of PEDMO SA, in Tychy. The production program comprises over 100 products. The offer has been continuously adapting to the current requirements of customers, as well as enriched by imported products, not produced in Poland (e.i. grapfite). PEDMO SA is offering following product groups: auxiliary materials for foundries which ensure a high casting quality thanks to the stable technological properties of moulding and core sands, powders and other materials for steel metallurgy increasing the yield and purity of steel and improving the ingot surface, auxiliary materials for non-ferrous metallurgy as well as for another kinds of metal industry influencing the reduction of meeting loss of metal as well as improving its properties. PEDMO SA also delivers its products to the customers from abroad It additionally exports and imports different products of the metallurgical and foundry trades.
