Przedstawiono różne metody przygotowania ocynkowanej stali do malowania o w oparciu o źródła literaturowe i normy. Zaprezentowano przeprowadzone w IMP badania na próbkach ocynkowanych metodą ciągłą w hucie i nie starzonych. Omówiono wyniki badań 2 metod mycia alkalicznego o różnym pH, które stwarzają możliwość zastosowania ich zarówno w warunkach stacjonarnych jak i polowych. Przedstawione metody chemiczne zapewniły dobre przygotowanie powierzchni, porównywalne z obróbką strumieniowo-ścierną

In the paper were presented the different methods of the surface preparation for painting of galvanized steel - based on literature sources and standards. The research was carried on at the Institute of Precision Mechanics. In this research was used the without wethering samples of steel coated by zinc during continuous process. The results of investigations of two alkaline cleaning methods with different pH were described. Both methods give possibilities of application in the stationary condi-tions as well as in the open area conditions. The presented chemical methods guaranted the surface preparation results as good as after the abrasive - blast treatment.
