Machine tools of parallel kinematics shown for the first time at the IMT'94 fair in Chicago are of interest to ever-growing group of manufacturers. At the 12 EMO'97 in Hannover visitors could see a great many conceptions of machine tools with non-orthogonal position of the axis. This article presents a characteristic of machine tools of the new generation the structrures of which have two variants: of variable and constant length of rods.
