W artykule scharakteryzowano aktualną sytuację na międzynarodowym rynku węgli stosowanych w przemyśle metalurgicznym. Zamieszczono dane dotyczące światowego zużycia oraz handlu węglem koksowym na rynkach międzynarodowych w 2005 roku. Przedstawiono informacje o kształtowaniu się cen węgli koksowych w kontraktach FY (Financial Year) 2006/2007 oraz światowe prognozy dotyczące podaży i cen węgli koksowych w nadchodzących latach.

Paper characterises up-to-day situation on international market of coal used in metallurgical industry. It also present data on global use and international coking coal trade in 2005. Paper present information on coal prices in contracts for FY 2006/2007 and forecasts of coking coal supply and prices for the years to come.
