Podano dane statystyczne dotyczące produkcji i zużycia głównych materiałów konstrukcyjnych - stali (głównie stali nierdzewnej) i aluminium. Dokonano analizy struktury produkcji i zużycia spawalniczych materiałów dodatkowych w podziale na grupy materiałów i gałęzie przemysłu. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono materiałom dodatkowym do spawania stali nierdzewnej. Podobną analizę przeprowadzono w odniesieniu do urządzeń spawalniczych, głównie pod kątem automatyzacji i robotyzacji produkcji spawalniczej.

It has been given statistical data concerning production and consumption of the main structural materials, i.e. steel (first of all stainless one) and aluminium. It has been analyzed the structure of fabrication and consumption of welding consumables in separate material groups and branches of production. The special attention has been drawn to consumables for welding of stainless steel. The similar analysis has been carried out in relation to welding equipment, chiefly from the point of view of automation and robotization of welding works.
