Lata 2008-2011 to okres stosunkowo złożony dla producentów techniki spawalniczej. Na światowym rynku techniki spawalniczej sytuacja szybko zmieniała się. Wahania były widoczne zarówno w ujęciu czasowym, jak i regionalnym oraz w różnych grupach techniki spawalniczej (materiały i urządzenia). Wielkość światowego rynku techniki spawalniczej w ujęciu wartościowym (z wyjątkiem robotów do spawania i środków automatyzacji) w 2010 r. wyniosła 13,6 mld dolarów (57% - materiały do spawania i napawania; 43% - urządzenia do spawania i cięcia oraz akcesoria). W roku 2012 oczekiwany jest wzrost rynku spawalniczego do 17 mld dolarów, a w 2017 r. do 22 mld dolarów. Średnie roczne tempo wzrostu rynku do 2017 r. wyniesie 5,2%.

The years 2008-2011 are the time relatively complicated for welding fabricators. The situation on the world welding market changed very quickly. Variations were visible both from time and region perspective as well as in different groups of welding technique (materials and equipment). In 2010 the value of the world welding market (except for welding robots and automation means) was on the level of 13.6 billion dollars (57% welding and surfacing consumables; 43% equipment and accessories for welding and cutting). In 2012 it is forecasted the increase to the level of 17 billion USD while in 2017 to 22 billion. Up to 2017 the annual average increase in the market value will be 5.2%.
