Abstrakty
This paper reports work covering the variation in surface quality in the extrusion of AlMgSi aluminium hollow sections incorporating different extrusion conditions. AlMgSi alloys are the most commonly used alloys in extrusion industry because of its wide range of function. They are used in buildings for constructions that should have a good surface quality. The total geometry can be considered to be split-up into three components-roughness, waviness and form. In this article Ra and Sm were chosen for considerations. Measured volumes quite good describe surface and are the most commonly used to determining roughness' level. The article will be making an attempt to explaining relationship between surface quality and some extrusion parameters.
