Abstrakty

Przeprowadzono symulacje numeryczne procesu wyciskania izotermicznego stopów aluminium z wariantem strefowego nagrzewania wlewka. W obliczeniach wykorzystano program DEFORM™3D, oparty na metodzie elementów skończonych. Wyniki obliczeń potwierdzają znane z doświadczenia zmiany temperaturowe podczas wyciskania na gorąco stopów aluminium. W obliczeniach uwzględniono również krótki okres transportu nagrzanego wlewka do pojemnika prasy. Zastosowana metoda umożliwia wyznaczenie rozkładu temperatury we wlewku, który spełnia warunek stałości temperatury wyrobu w trakcie trwania procesu wyciskania. Prowadzone są obliczenia innych wariantów procesu wyciskania, uwzględniające także zróżnicowanie wymiarów wlewka. Dla zweryfikowania obliczeń teoretycznych konieczne będzie przeprowadzenie testów przemysłowych.

Numerical simulations of the process of isothermal extrusion of aluminium alloys with an option of zone heating of an ingot have been performed. The finite elements method based DEFORM Ž3D program was used in the calculations. The results obtained confirmed temperature changes observed during experiments with hot extrusion of aluminium alloys. In the calculations, short period of transporting hot ingot to the press container was also taken into account. The applied method enables determination of temperature distribution inside an ingot, which meets the condition of constant temperature of the material during extrusion process. Calculations were also made for other options of the extrusion process, and for different ingot dimensions. Industrial scale tests will have to be performed in order to verify theoretical calculations.
