Abstrakty

This paper gives two selected examples of application of the multi-purpose software package MARC to numerically simulation of deep drawing processes design. In the first case the simulation of the sheet metal forming process of the multiple forming of the compressor cover was described. Several modified tools was tested and optimized of their shapes were found. The next example is the application of the system for sheet metal forming design to S-Rail sheet forming process. Using MARC package leads to improve productivity and reduce tool number and manufacturing costs.
