Abstrakty
The billets made of Al-Mg-Si alloys have been investigated. Two modes of the billets preparation for extrusion, depending on the cooling rate of the billets after homogenization, are shown. The microstructure after homogenization was observed. The tensile strength of extrusions from investigated billets, against the background of the theoretical curves of precipitation hardening has been shown.
